We have different categories of membership which follow the cycle of education and qualification of mediators. Please begin your application below:
Member
You have must have successfully completed an MII
Accredited training course and skills assessment. Price €250.
Advanced Member
Advanced Members of the MII are experienced Members who have successfully completed an MII advanced assessment. To become an Advanced Member contact info@themii.ie for more information. Price €250
Trainee Affiliate
A participant on, or a person who successfully completes, an MII approved training programme is eligible to apply for Trainee Affiliation. Price €100.
General Affiliate
Any person with an interest in mediation may apply for General Affiliation of the MII. Price €100
Community Mediation Service Provider
Mediators who work solely on a volunteer, not-for-profit basis with a registered MII Community Mediation Service. Price €100
Organisation Affiliate
The Organisation Affiliation category is for organisations that are interested in mediation and/or wish to have a group of their members registered as MII accredited mediators. Price €250
Membership Fees
Registration fees are applicable on an annual calendar year basis (January-to-January) and should be submitted to the MII when making an online application for membership. If you have difficulty making an online payment please contact info@themii.ie to make alternative arrangements.
Note: Where a new member registers with the MII after 1 July in a given year they will be liable to pay 50% of the applicable annual registration fee. For example: New Member joining after 1st July – 50% of the annual fee of €125
